Then you haven't been watching much racing the past couple years. Yea, there are a couple boring races on the circuit, but Indy car has never been so competitive, with such close races, at least not for many years!

I'll ride up to see no. 2 son in Minneapolis. We'll drive over from there, usually overnight in Lafayette. Far enough away that they don't bend you over on motel rates, but still a short drive in.
Moved last year from the paddock to A stand, right across from the timing tower. Better view into turn one.

I appreciate the invitation, but we take the bus to the airport parking right after the race, then it's back to Minneapolis. Dinner in Madison, arrival Minneapolis around 0200. Long day, but fun.
