wire wheel Norge
« on: February 14, 2016, 11:17:23 AM »
Just to anyone who's interested, in addition to the wire wheels on the Norge I've also made a few other mods that I think have real benefits to the general usability of the bike in it's natural habitat. I'm happy to pass on any details if there's interest.

Other than the two shots of the bridge to nowhere on the west coast of Norway on the Atlantic Road, which is just a bit of self indulgence, the thing that looks like a cross between a G clamp and a pistol, is the tool I made to bore the holes in the new Behr rims so they would be totally in line with the matching holes in the hub.

BTW, the real significance of the two shots of the bridge is that I bought the atlas for my 2014 trip to Nordkapp and was taken by the image of the bridge and thought "that's where I want to go"..... And that's what happened. I reckoned I'd like to stand on the same spot as the original photographer. I guess it's the definition of the idea that, it's not the photo that's important, it's what it took to get to the point where you press the shutter
