PHM 40'S on Carbed Cali 1100
« on: March 06, 2016, 06:26:59 PM »
Changing my Cali's carbs to PHM 40'S  from the stock 36's. Not having any problems whatsoever , just sharing info with folks on the board. I am  making/modding cables to get the additional height of slide opened. I am using using the original manifolds after a bit of taper work smoothing out the mixture path ( stock manifolds allow the  original airbox to work).  I will  be using using a longer 2 into one splitter to get a bit more pull. Looks  like the original throttle may work, but haven't gotten to that far yet. My starting point jetting wise is 58 idle, 135 main, AB268 needle jet and K18 needle one notch from the bottom. Any thoughts?

Jetting will be close with that. Sounds like an enjoyable project! :gotpics:
