Yes they have worked equally well on my ST1300 and my CBR 1000.....12 Norge....Goldwing.. ......EV...everythi ng I have ridden. They don't have the large toe box, like a steel toe, or square toe, and with the fabric uppers the ankle is flexible. I bought the lace up style, but they are available with a zipper side also. Be careful with the lace ups, and make sure to double tie the tops so the laces don't come undone and foul in some part of the bike.
Only boots in 40+ years that I have found to be comfortable riding AND walking. Got the tip on these about 5 years ago from 2 friends that were motor cops for 25+ years. They have been wearing them since the boots were first available some years ago. Worked good on the KZ 1000's, Beemers, and Harleys alike. While some police departments required their motor officers were to wear the "Chippewa" style boots, some departments didn't care what type of boot you wore as long as it was black.
I had a blast a couple of years back doing a training class with some of the smaller local PD's...especially since at the end of the class we all went on a long ride through several of the small towns with "lights and sirens" so they could practice...what a hoot!!! Trying to get asked back as a guest instructor this year, if they have enough candidates.
