I agree 100%, but in the CB1100's case you have to relocate the rear turn signals and from what I understand reroute the wires to them and I'm a weenie about stuff like that.  I'll bolt/unbolt stuff all day long but not too keen on modifying wiring or electrical items.

If it makes you feel any better it's a REALLY easy thing to do.

I mean like, I helped a family doc friend of mine do his the first time and he did his other bikes on his own after that.

It can be as easy as crimp and go, maybe some heat shrink tubing and a hair dryer if you want to get fancy.

You don't even have to solder it if you don't want to.

Yeah, you're right, I need to man up. 

I'll try them on the V7 II first and if I like well enough maybe I will tackle the CB1100.  I DO like the flexibility in moving bags from bike to bike with one system.  Makes a lot of sense!
