1400 seat rebuilt, anyone done?
« on: April 19, 2016, 09:30:06 AM »
Do not like profile.  Am not concerned about pulling off cover and modifying / replacing foam.  Has anyone looked at what is under the cover exactly?  Anyone done this?

Was considering getting elkskin and replacing cover, too.

Any comments extremely welcome.

I need a custom seat for my 1400 Touring.  I find the stock seat uncomfortable.  I'll post when I find a solution.  I have had multiple Russell Day-Long saddles, and I've been happy with their work.  I've also had a Rich's custom saddle too, that was good (and waterproof), but the RDL was more comfortable.
