Houston people recovering flood?
« on: April 23, 2016, 07:01:54 PM »
All,

How are the Houston Guzzi riders doing?  Here in Sugar Land the Brazos crested, and fortunately the engineered bayous and levees did their job.  SE of us though, at Rosharon and such:  pretty ugly flooding.

I am wondering how Mike Haven and crew at MPH are doing.  They are pretty close to some of the worst flooding, and the big Addicks reservoir.  Sent Mike an email a couple days ago, and did not hear back:  unusual.

Been riding the bicycle instead of motos this week.  Triumph gets a run into church and etc tomorrow.

I contacted Mike Haven at MPH thru his Facebook page:  doing fine, no issues.  That is a relief.

Hope to take the V7R in for a new front tire, and discuss canister removal to fix the hot start issue, and perhaps switch to adjustable clutch/brake levers.

Took the bike to church today, we had some fun!  Breezy.  Love the smell of restaurant food on the breeze when I am hungry....

No problems here.  I couldn't get to the regular Tuesday night supper since Eldridge, Hwy 6 and Barker-Cypress roads were closed south of Clay.
