Ah, it sounds like that is what I need!

Did you need to use the two-inch long aluminum exhaust hanger extension that comes with our stock silencers to clear the left pannier? Also, any pics you could share?
it some with its own hanger extension. yes I have pics but this site is a RPITA to load them. I will work on it though.

Looks like the 'stock' muff has a riveted plate on the back, wonder if the rivets were drilled out, if there's a BD killer on the stock can?

I think there is a reducer on the stock can, but I believe it is a the tail end of the can. I have removed the rear cap before, and it looks like surgery would be required to bore out the end of the can to open up the sound.

Probably far better to go with an after-market can and use it with the included DB killer, without the DB killer, or with a modified (shortened and/or drilled) DB killer.

no the stock has welded pins on the bracket, very sturdy.

took the norge out for a spin today, it sounds very nice, not overbearing loud like some aftermarket cans I have heard, but nice deep tone.

I've had a Staintune on my '07 Norge pretty much since new and it has a nice rumble IMO, also a nice angry sort of " crack" to it at higher revs. I fitted it higher up like the VFR 800 Honda has. It involves mandrel bending a link pipe in stainless in the same "style" if you will, as the MGS 01, but you need a bit of imagination there. It really makes for easy rear wheel removal and shows off the cast/ wire wheel nicely.

I was hoping to get a stain tune but they are not available for the 2013's and up

I guess it won't matter, there's lots to choose from I'd imagine. Can you get Termi or Akropovic ?
