8V difference Stelvio/Griso?

Having owned both, just curious aside from maybe mapping what are the engine differences between these two?

Ive had both also, 12 Griso to 13 Stelvio and I think other than exhaust and maybe mapping they are the same. One thing that I thought is weird is my Griso had the push the starter once and it starts program where the Stelvio has to be held until it starts, no big deal but thought it was odd the newer bike wouldn't also have it

There were some differences in the camming in the flat tappet engines, all roller motors use the same camshafts. Otherwise all 1200's are identical.

It is interesting how Moto Guzzi gets different horsepower and torque figures/curves out of the same motor.

Grisso: "Over 110 hp at 7,500 rpm... 80 foot pounds at 6,400 rpm."

Stelvio: "105HP (77 kW) at 7,250 rpm... 83.3 Ft. Lbs. (113 Nm) at 5,800 rpm."

Norge: "102 HP at 7,000 rpm... 76.7 ft lbs at 5500 rpm."

On the flat tappet bikes the few minor changes altered the power and torque curves a bit and the gearing on some models, (1200S/Norge too I think.) is slightly higher but every stock 8V I've ever dyno'd maxed out at 96RWHP. Only differences being temperature and air pressure.
