New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Tranies squeel w/low on fluid sometimes.
Definitely check the gearbox oil. It's not hard.
Thanks. Will do.I love how definite the manual is: "The oil level is correct when it is close to the cap/dipstick opening." What could go wrong?
Put bike on center stand. Take off the plastic if it's there. Drain tranny oil. Put drain plug back BEFORE next step. Use an oil container that has one of those clip-off nozzles so you can squirt the oil in by squeezing. Do that - it'll take about 500ml. When the oil starts to run back out over the threads, stop. Put the plug back in, and wipe up the extra from the side of the tranny. Put the plastic back on, and go riding. Simple.
My Brothers Stelvio is doing it as well........... local Guzzi shop stated that it is caused by a metallic cone piece they said was located in the CARC.Sounds like they have done others as well.............Ciao
'Metalic cone piece'? That's a new one!
And why was it called that, Mr. Trivia?
The joke was it worked bassackwards , hmm , maybe just like the cone referenced here Dusty
