« on: July 10, 2016, 08:09:02 AM »
Does anyone remember Darrel Fuller and Continental Cycles in Marietta GA?

They were dealers for BMW, Guzzi and Lambretta.

It was over closer to downtown Marietta.  This is going way back.

It was a great, enthusiast-oriented shop.  We used to hang out there.

Unfortunately, the story I got was the owner's wife's dad had financed the shop. When marital problems and a divorce cropped up, the financing was cut and the shop closed.

I bought a Ducati 900SS there.

A friend of mine had them put on cyl & pistons to his 73 Eldo. He was down here working on the deep tunnel project in mid 80's.
That's when there was a dealer in Athens also, had that info on a dealers list from the MGNOC at the time.

My Le Mans III came from Cycle Specialties in Athens Ga.

My records show that he lightened the flywheel on it, as well as other service procedures. never dealt with them personally, but the original owner of my Le Mans gave them a good recommendation for both sales and service. I believe this dealership is long gone now.
