Saw them tonight in Springfield, mo. Cool stuff. I'm a little disappointed in my town. No publicity, no news coverage. The town where rt 66 was named missed it big time.

]you got the story and you got the back story  and you got the pics and you're complaining that nobody reported the story?

Hmmmm.  I'd have had 5000 words and a handfull of pics on the Sunday features editor's desk the next morning. and  complained about the line at the bank instead.

Got to catch up with them at the Parsons Ks lunch stop. Lots of wet motorcycles and riders myself included. Got  a few  pics and met some new friends. Their days ride was cancelled after lunch presumably because of lightning danger

Funny, I posted the same pics on the antique motorcycles Facebook page and got 75 likes in 15 minutes. Here you get a comment from a grumpy old fart and 1 report on the progress of the event! Thanks Doug!

The Guzzi dr. Told me one dude had a push rod run through a full gas tank and she blew up. Rider dove off and is doing ok but the old Harley is a Chrispy critter. Everyone I talked to were friendly and having a good time. Some were doing what looked like a pretty major tear down and still cutting up and havin' fun. It was a fun evening!

Saw them Tuesday (9/13) in Bloomington Indiana. They rode into Bloomington Harley Davidson. That was a crowded event. Must have been several hundred people that turned up to watch the old bikes ride in. Although I've seen plenty of old bikes in my life I've never seen one let alone 30 or 40 running and being ridden.

Really cool seeing such old bikes.
