or do as I did with the 1970 Ambassador I had got from Ian Adkins, only sell Sophia to a dear friend or relative(Uncle Benny).
Whenever I'm in NY from Georgia, I'm prompted to "Take the Ambo while you're in town".
So I've got a new Griso and limit my sellers remorse with sweet rides along the lakefront a couple times a year!

So instead of the cruiser you went with a sport tourer! Excellent choice! I can't do cruisers and have been on sport tourers since '04. You gonna like it!

Yup! I did a test ride on a California (actually an Eldorado, but same difference). Too big. Norge: just right. It's on a truck as we speak I think... coming in a few weeks... I've been following Dave Swanson's 600-mile-service thread...

How about some details about the Norge?

New, 2015, "metallic mahogany" color, from Moto International in Seattle. Will be here in about 3 weeks it looks like. I can't wait... though now I need to figure out the proper break-in procedure, and learn about ECU maps and all that.

Really looking forward to the new bike. Did you know it's got disc brakes, front AND rear???!!!!

Sooo.... I picked up the Norge this weekend. Rode 600 miles. It was very hot, but worth it.

What a remarkable bike. I haven't ridden a modern motorcycle in a long time to be honest, and what a revelation.  That 6th gear, I don't think we have highways in the US that are designed for that gear, it needs the autobahn! Started in the Harrisburg area, rode up state route 15 along the Susquehanna river all the way up and into New York state, turned right at Corning, Rode on 86 for a while towards Binghamton, turned off the highway south onto local roads (220, 187, 6) and wound my way down to Scranton, then came back to Philly on the highway. Then the next day, from Philly back to Harrisburg on 23 and 322.

Now that I'm officially having to pay to park two bikes, Sophia really needs a new owner. I'm sad to say it but I'm willing to take offers. I wrote $12k in my ad, but I guess that's too much, so even though I still don't know what she's worth if you've got a number in mind, now's a good time to talk to me about it.

P.S. The photos are in front of BJ's Steak & Rib House on North Market Street in Selinsgrove, PA: https://goo.gl/maps/J6pbLgrst552

Sophia Loren was born as Sofia Scicolone at the Clinica Regina Margherita in Rome, Italy, on September 20, 1934.

I wonder why she did that.
