HD Air shocks and brake adjustment

I was thinking about putting the HD Showa air shocks on my 04 EVT. Any advise or recomendations? Is there a procedure for adjusting the proportioning brake valve?

I'd think the brake valve wouldn't need any adjustment so long as the length of the shocks didn't adversely affect the ride height.

I have a set on my 03 aluminum, I never messed with the adjustment on the proportioning valve myself, but I believe the HD shocks are a bit shorter, so the proportioning valve would sense that swingarm angle as meaning the bike has a heavy load on it. I believe that diverts more braking pressure to the rear to balance out the braking.

Yes so how do I adjust that Valve to compensate for the 13" HD shocks vs the 14" stock units.

From the service info, it should be 67mm per the drawing, when on the center stand.
I think it you adjust it for this, you will be close.
BTW, I have played a bit with the setting on my 2004, and never did notice a real change.
