Viewed this billboard in northeast Iowa (south side of Waukon, IA) yesterday while on a day ride.  NGC because I was on the FJR.

Man, that is some nice riding in that part of Iowa, the whole NE corner of the state.  Left MN out of Spring Grove, rode Iowa 76 to Marquette/McGregor, then up river back to the Twin Cities.  I've explored this area a few times, never dissatisfied.  SE MN/NE IA/SW WI, motorcycling heaven.

On our Southeast Kentucky trip, we stayed in a hotel that had a nice pool, into which we would dive after a long day of riding the Kentucky and Tennessee countryside in 90+ degree temps.

At first glance, I thought I knew what it meant.   But after laying back in the water and contemplating for a while, I realized that there were possibly deeper levels of meaning there, and I didn't worry any more about whether there was anyone else in the pool with me ....
