I'm not a cruiser guy at heart, but I couldn't turn this down. 30K miles, clean title - might need a clutch and new rubber.  Don't ask how much I paid - embarassingly little $$.  It'll make a perfect sidecar tug!  Now just to figure out how to remove seat to get at the battery...

 Oh hell , a T140 D .

 Is the seat release the same as later Cals ? Should be a lock lower left side that the key works , then pull the release located just lower , not the helmet hook , but the one behind it .

You are correct sir!  That Bonneville Special is one I fixed up for a customer.

I wouldn't have turned that down either if the price was as you say.

I had one (paid a bit too much) and it was a nice solid bike.   Had a Sargent seat (this one looks like a Sargent too?) and the full fairing.

Rich Maund has it now, I think his is destined for a sidecar tug too ....

Looks nice.! Are those 1000 or 1100? What year? I like the carbed square fin engine setup.
