Last night, looking at images of a green V11 Sport (or something of that nature, can't access that account at this moment) for sale by a local, and my wife asked if I wanted to buy it.

I said I did, and she said I should. We then discussed the pros and cons of owning multiple Guzzis. She thinks that the amount of bikes I can fit in one parking space, on our budget, should be the determining factor.

I'm a long ways away from having the funds to do such a thing, but the ball is in my court now. I told her I had some homework to do before I could settle on which one I wanted.

My life is so tough...
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

It figures that [rodekyll] would be the one to suggest something like that.

I confess I watch the builds by the masters here, yourself among them, and ideas go through my head. Fortunately they don't stop there, they just keep on going. It doesn't help any that I've got a spare bedroom in our apartment and a wife who is tolerant of my ideas of project art.

We did the math and figured out that while the entry cost is higher, Moto Guzzis are still cheaper than horses in the long run, and overall quieter than getting my falconers license and a bird.

Yeah, [swooshdave], I do miss my Eldo.

The biggest hurdle to multiple bike ownership is out of the way.  The rest will fall into place.  Maybe the Harper's potato chip tee would help.   Scroll the bottom of the page.  http://www.harpermoto.com/main-data-base/apparel-and-personal-accessories/harpers-and-moto-guzzi-t-shirts.html
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Here's a greenie in Arizona.

I think San Diego County Credit Union gives loans for used motorcycles. Put a little money down, spread $4,000 or so over three years - heck you can do that just by skipping a few meals out each month - or cancelling some cable channels.

I have 4 motorcycles in a 1-car garage. I could fit more...

As for multiple Guzzis - that let's you really take your time when one needs work. You don't have to rush when you can ride one and wrench one.

Hell, I could rationalize buying that 2000 greenie as a compatible parts resevoir for my Bassa - gotta be some compatible parts in there
