waiting on my hitch and trailer but wanted separate bike from owner this week.  going to look at it tomorrow and possibly pay for it and come back to pick it up.  but if someone was close by and was willing to pick it up and hold for me that may work.  i they were more west better as I'm coming across 84 from NY.  the guy sounds trustworthy but paying for something and picking it up later get me thinking worse case senarios

Thought we might know him and address your concerns.  Regardless, if you pay and have to leave it there, take the title and some pictures.  It'll be fine.

Or... Jim Hamlin's Guzzi shop (Hamlin Cycle) is right outside Danbury.  Pay him to pick it up and store it for you?
