I like anything that gets drivers to look up from their phones why driving. I'd ride naked but that's not really safe either so flashing brake lights are a good alternative.

I had this bulb on my Triumph but I've moved it to the Guzzi.

Being seen from the front is just as important if not more important than being seem from the rear.    These, as well as the P3's have a "conspicuity flicker" mode that makes maximizes your visibility to other drivers, especially when they are not paying attention.   This is a fast flicker that isn't really even obvious when you are looking directly at them, but, draws your attention when they're in your peripheral vision.

Great products...i ride with a friend who has a Wing...gives you the three pulse brake light...definitely gets your attention......my brother put a small white strobe under his headlight...after he was t boned crossing an intersection.....ve ry effective although I dont know if its legal everywhere...

I like that bulb. I may just get one of those.

I have felt that bulbs that constantly blink can cause people following or coming toward you to become complacent to the blinking, be it a headlight or tail light. This, OTOH, gets your attention without that. Nice!

My theory is anything you can do to be seen better is a good thing.

I noticed that just replacing the standard headlight bulb with an LED makes a big difference. The extraordinarily bright light does catch the driver's attention.

The only balance you need to find is attracting vs. distracting.

I'm not sure why someone would pay $30-100 to make their brake light flash when a $20 bulb does the same thing.

I bought a brake light flashing unit off ebay. I think I paid $7-$11. I don't remember the exact price. It was easy to wire in.
I'm running it on a Quota. A friend has a super duper setup on his Harley. It flashes the brake light and turn signals. It was a bunch of money 6 years ago for the setup. I'm thinking $200+ for his setup.

I didn't go the flashing route for the Norge - instead, I ran three 12" LED strips vertically on the back of each pannier, RED - AMBER - RED. The outer red is running lights, the amber is turn, and the inner red is brakes.

A foot tall string of lights on each bag combined with the surprisingly weak (considering how good the factory headlights are) stock tail light at center not only brightens up the back a lot, the distance between the strips gives those behind a better sense of distance and closing rate.

I wired them in with quick disconnects located just behind the trim panels near the passenger pegs, so the bags still come off just about as quickly as before.

I have the brake light flasher unit from superbrite.  Flashes 4 times in one sec, 4 times in 4 sec then goes steady red.
