Front Brakes

I’m new to the forum. I recently acquired a 1975 850T and it needs front brake parts. I’ve searched FAQ  but can’t determine what front caliper is stock. Is the stock front caliper an F08 or F09? The one I have has two bleed ports.
Also, what’s the difference between the 08 and 09? And are the parts interchangeable?

8's, MG Cycle has parts and complete calipers. Unless you care about keeping the stock dual bleeder caliper I recommend buying a new caliper, hardly any difference in price by the time you replace the pistons, seals, clips and pads.

The F08 is original, but if you still have the original 15 mm master cylinder, the F09 is a good upgrade for improved power and feel. With the F08, lever feel is very "wooden" and you need a very strong pull to achieve much braking at all.

The difference between the F08 and F09 is the piston diameter, 38 mm vs. 48 mm respectively.
