Actually I live about 40 miles north of Wichita in the country. There is an airport (Newton) about 6 miles south and a bit east of me. The crop duster shots are local crop dusters working fields around me. I am more or less under a number of east and west airliner flight paths so that is where the airliner shots come from. The military helicopters are from Ft. Riley near Manhattan, KS. Training flights where they usually fly to the Wichita airport, due some touch and goes and then return, once again I am right in that flight path. Had a formation of six one day. The rest of the shots are for the most part planes on landing approach to the Newton airport.
The Newton airport was once a Naval air station in WWII training B-24 bomber pilots. Due to it's size and location from Wichita the Newton airport is used a lot for shakedown flights of new aircraft and for transition training. There is also a aircraft restoration center there and hence the occasional like new classic flying around on shakedown flights.
