No affiliation. $500 not bad for part a parts bike and sounds like they have more parts available:

Gawd - it's not quite up there with Tetanus and Thrasher, but it's at least a distant relative.

I have to wonder if that's at Sonny Angel's old shop - the map reference is in the neighborhood and the comment about parts makes it seem likely.

Do you guys know what year that machine is ? Not that I have five bills, or a place to put it, but it's probably a good thing I don't.

Do you guys know what year that machine is ?

From the black plastic cover over the gas cap, I'm going to guess '78. My G5 of that year had a plastic cover, my '79 SP had a metal cover. But, the gas tank could have been swapped out at some point, so who knows without looking at the VIN tag.

You know how there are processes to "antique" furniture and other items to give them simulated patina?

You could buy it, get it running good, park it in an area where it would get lots of coastal salt air, encourage vining plants to grow on it, put bird seed on it when you're not riding it. Eventually you would have something unique.

Notice that I said you could buy it, not that I could buy it.

Right, the plastic gas tank cover. Good call.

Edit.. Possibly you could germinate seeds from the seat foam, then transplant the seedlings to a garden....

I've seen cars covered in grass - has anybody ever raised a grass seat cover on a guzzi ? You'd want to water it at intervals when you weren't planning on riding for a day or so.
