OMFG.. is this what we are coming to?
« on: October 12, 2016, 11:45:22 AM »
A self balancing motorcycle with sci fi gadgets like auto adjusting tire tread..  is it even still a motorcycle?

No Helmet, no protective gear either because it will avoid all accidents.  That has to be the most ridiculous statement I have ever seen from a motorcycle manufacturer.

What the heck happens when a car hits you while you're on the motorcycle then?  They seem to have completely forgotten about this possibility...basic laws of physics...what if you hit a pothole and the bike doesn't recover and you end up in the trees.

Very futuristic indeed...but to promote motorcycling w/o protective gear seems like a really stupid thing to suggest.

It's just vaporware - Go read " Snow Crash " by Neal Stephenson to see prior art (and it's a fun read as well).
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

7th grade when that hit the AM airwaves. My  8th grade civics teacher told us oil would be completely exhausted by 2000. Of course, Mom told us some whoppers as well.

We've been getting whoppers for years from all over ....

Self balancing, currently available now.  Eldo w/hack.  More visible for accident avoidance.  Same Eldo w/hack.  No need for helmet or special riding gear.  Same Eldo w/hack in Hawaii.  Cost is a lot less that bike.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Nah, you just have to get your glasses prescription updated every couple of years.

You'll need the glasses so you don't cut yourself when you're shaving your hands you know...
