Sad...and at 68, way too young to check out.   :sad:

Also, designer of the fabled V10 Centauro for Moto Guzzi's 75th Anniversary back in the day.

Was he a lifetime smoker?  That seems to be the pattern.   I'm 1 of the few who didn't take up smoking of my generation.  I've heard smoking is still more prevalent in Europe than here.

Like you AW I never started smoking, but my observation is that in the UK smokers are becoming pariahs but many are moving to "E-cigs"

However, across mainland Europe it appears to be perfectly acceptable to smoke

Back on topic, Marabase looks like an interesting and innovative bloke - I see he developed the 3 wheel Piaggio MP3 as well as one of the best looking bikes on the planet - Centauro

The centauro gets attention where ever I take it.  It has aged well and looks fairly current by today's standards.
