Was good as always, big thing for me after 3 months away, here you can have roads as good as the alps but you get them to yourself.
100 miles with no-one coming or going, twice in less than 500 total for weekend.
Mandello had 25000, Spag maybe 200, traffic same proportions, each have their merits

Thanks
Good word, box is appropriate, I've been calling it a leather tank bag but it is firm not baggy, box it is
I got the idea from Swedish army 500 Triumph I saw a couple of years ago, leather box bolted to original tankrack mounting threads.
So clever I had to copy, but mine cleverer, no stitching, no straps, no buckles, took some time but I'm happy. Gave the tank a bit more fuel while I was at it
Plenty of other pics from rally at this link, I should've posted that, loads of bikes, not just mine just like that shot
All here

Hopefully someone else can answer that for you and introduce etc , I left before that occurred, but is possibly a new take on the red suspender thing.

Beautiful country. This could have been a proper Guzzi advert.

Saw the bike there, missed the tank box & you.

The mankini? This was in response to last year's kerfuffle over a browneye that someone had serious objections to & made a huge deal of. Andrew thought the whole thing too silly for words, thus the brief Borat impersonation. His point - it's a rally! Some silliness should be tolerated (or ignored). I was disappointed he didn't go for a swim - the river was in spate - now that would have been an event.

As it was, a great time had by all and as usual, a great ride there & a great ride back.
