New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Having just installed a center stand on a new to me CTX 1300 I can say that RK is right to say attach the spring and then stretch the stand with a strap to install. Seems like more than one of my bikes have two springs either side by side or one inside the other to hold the center stand up. They appear to be placed so that the bikes weight will hold the stand down and once rotated back the springs can then pull the stand up. You may need a second spring or the spring mount moved to exert more lift. Mike
My LM2 has 2 springs and does the same; roll it off the stand and the legs stay on the ground until they're flipped up manually. I believe they all do this and I don't see it as a problem, in fact I'd guess it's by design.
