Selling my Breva 1100 - SOLD
« on: February 20, 2017, 08:25:21 PM »
It is a 2007 Breva 1100. I have it listed in our swap meet section and my local craigslist. Plan on riding until sold.

Jeez mate. Some of these blokes that are umming and arring about what touring bike to buy should be knocking your door down. I really don't know what they're waiting for. Maybe if you got a Quattro Valvole badge and stuck it on the side you'd get some action...If Guzzi bring out a 5 V pc like the old 750 Yamaha of yesteryear, then all the 4 V pc ones'll become passe' and then yours (and my) 2 V pc bike will be worth about 25 bucks !!! Also, put 28315 in the diagnostics and get rid of that service icon, it looks less than ideal. Maybe also go for a gentle ride and see if you can get a mpg display a bit better than 25 mpg. But all things considered, I'd buy it over the phone and try to wear it out if I wanted a tourer and lived in the States.

Thank you. I'll update the pic of the dash. I'm getting around 36mpg and all the service is current and the service indicator light is reset. No error codes in dash or ECU. Service included: valve lash adjustment, throttle body sync, engine oil, trans oil and gearbox fluids changed, latest maps and TPS reset. Also, replaced inner and outer spark plugs, all metal fuel filter, air filter, and NAPA style oil pressure switch.

Wow! if I didn't already have a 2007 Breva 1100 I would jump on it! Besides at $3000 you are giving her away!

Not for nothing, but for $3k it would be an excellent parts bike. Long term security on the one you already have.

Only has about 100-150k miles left in it.  And it doesn't have traction control.  And it is under 150hp.  What tripe.    (joke) (not serious)  Someone buy it please.

LOL...and when I just bought the Breva several months ago I  told the boss it would be the last bike I would need for the rest of my life  :thewife:

Exactly, and you'd remained true to your word as this would just be a pile of parts for it. Well, an assembled, working pile of parts, but that's just semantics. If anything a self-propelled pile of parts.

I dunno if I'd call a parts bike, so much as a "spare".

$3k for that bike with low miles and bags looks like a good deal to me.

I expect a 10% commission when you DO.... and you KNOW it's only a matter of time.

Darn. I'll guess I'll have to increase the price just to get it out of the parts-bike category.
