Welll...not sure if you'll be on a motorcycle or not, but either way, you're close to several cool little towns to visit...

Boerne, Luckenbach, Fredericksburg...al l very easy and short drives from San Antonio, more fun on a motorcycle, but just as nice in a car if you're touring.  If you're lucky, the leaves will be turning on the Maples at Lost Maples state park, also an easy drive from San Antonio.

One of the best foodie towns.  Nothing wrong with partying on the river.

Some like to go to the Missions and the Hemisphere.

No motorcycle this trip, the wife is having issues with her back so we will be in the truck.

Seaworld, a one or two day visit?  doubtful we will do the rides, if it was me, you bet, but the wife, not so much.

Well..not sure what kind of activities you are shooting for...if you're a golfer, you could try out one of the 2 courses at La Cantera (used to be a Westin), up near the 1604 loop, north west side of San Antonio.  Also a nice place to just hang out for a drink and enjoy the views, it's right across from Fiesta Texas.

If looking for something unique...there's a bat cave in an old train tunnel south of Luckenbach, west of Sisterdale that's cool to visit as well...

Let us know what your interests are and we can make some more suggestions...

I lived there for 5 years.  A town you can say that it's a great to visit but I would really like to live there.

Best food anywhere.  Great place to relax and party too.  I don't know of a more friendly city anywhere, any size.  For sure my favorite place in Texas.  No place better.

The weather is great so bring a swim suit for the hotel pool.

I'll be heading there after Thanksgiving.  Probably pay a visit with friends in Austin (Mike?) and then the Port A and the beach.  Maybe see some friends in Houston...

One day at Sea World will be plenty, especially if you are skipping the rides.

San Antonio has a really decent zoo if you like that sort of thing.  Will take up a good part of a day.

If in SA only. Take  a boat ride from the zoo area(park at pearl brewery ?) to the river walk. My wife and I did it 2 years ago. Lot of lights.  It was fun. Started late, no return boats available.I think they shut down in the 10-11 PM range. Had to catch a cab from the River Walk  back  to Pearl Brewery. Great time. It was bit cold at night.  I didn't realize the river had a series of locks.
SA is a hoot as community party city. I went to a brunch near the Alamo . I think it was the Menger Hotel.
If you are getting out of SA. Be sure to hit Fredricksburg.
