Mistral Exhaust.

I just bought a pair of mistral Exhaust on fleabay.  I am looking at the ends and I notice they do not look like the ends of other mistrals.  They have no baffles but it looks like I would not be able to put a baffle in them.

I'll take a picture tomorrow.

Did these come stock at one point?  I can see straight through them, it just seems odd that the inside does not look like it could receive any of the available baffles offered at mg cycle.

To me it looks like the baffle is in place, have you looked for a Allen screw in the end, inside the pipe to take said baffle out?

One clue is that the exhaust has MISTRAL embossed/stamped on them no part numbers.

The others I have seen look to have laser engraved Mandello....Mistral logo.  I may just have a set that was never governed by noise laws here in the US and Europe?  Guy said he had them on his 2001 EV.

The DB killers are removable. Perhaps yours have gone missing.

I believe Mistral uses a screw to keep a DB killer in place, whereas Agostini uses a circlip.

By the way, I could be wrong, but I have always thought of a baffle as being the stuffing inside the silencer, in the body of it, not the noise reducer at the end of it. With the noise reducer removed, you should be able to see straight through the silencer.

Okay here they are.  For some reason the DB Killer that is sold does not look like it would fit.

Look like they are OEM Guzzi pipes manufactured by Mistral for Guzzi,  hence no removable baffle.
