Norge weight

Bought my 2012 Norge a couple of months ago and I finally got around to putting it on a scale. I was shocked! 640 pounds! Can that be right? Sure doesn't feel like it, except when putting it on the center stand. That's like 80 pounds heavier than my 01 EV.

According to the specifications it weighs 566 lbs dry. Add gas oil and whatever and you get to 640 lbs.

I thought the EV was 600LB.
Did you weigh it?
OK. what does it feel like when ride it? Does it feel right? So then why does it matter what it weighs?

Last year I put my 2008 1200 Sport with a full tank of gas on an industrial scale and it weighed 563 lbs. Now you've added a fairing and 2 saddlebags and trunk and you probably get what you got as far as weight unless the 4 valve heads weigh more.

Hey Guzzidad if you were to maneuver my 920 LB K1200LT around the garage then you'd think your Guzzi is a featherweight! I do think the 2-valve models are a little lighter.

She's stout (like me) and not easily tossed about by gusts of wind on the highway.
