Stelvio wheel transplant
« on: December 01, 2016, 06:54:34 PM »
OK ........... here we go with yet another Stelvio thing.
Does anyone know if the early version 180/55/17 rear would just happen to slip on the newer NTX version with no mods needed? ........... if so would it would then be possible to transplant a spoked Griso SE rear onto same NTX?
aside from the obvious any handling issues that would also be inherited with a conversion like this.

Any and all.

Ciao

Any rear wheel from any CARC bike will fit any other CARC bike. Wider rim will limit you in dirty tyr choice I believe.

Pete, are there any Speedo / ABS sensor issues to consider?

Nothing that couldn't be fixed by moving over the trigger wheel to the new wheel. I don't believe there are any mounting issues.
