Anyone going to Clarkson University?  My youngest daughter went to St. Lawrence University down the road  Canton; which is why we  dined at the Clarkson Inn several times..  Those Winter drives through the Adirondacks were something special.

My work colleague (traveling with me now) - his son is going to Clarkson now, his first year.

We are meeting some Clarkson professors tomorrow for some R&D work for our company.  Having dinner with them tonight at Maxfields on Main Street. :thumb:

I grew up in the Mid-Hudson Valley area (Poughkeepsie-Red Hook-Rhinebeck, NY) - and as kids, we used to vacation at the American Legion Camp in Tupper Lake, in the Adirondack's - but in the SUMMER!! :thumb:

These pictures bring back memories, I graduated from Clarkson College in the early 80's. Nice in the spring , summer and fall, but weather from Siberia during winter.  Not that much snow as we were North of the Great Lakes snow belt, but cold...!
Clarkson  got high-falutin' in the mid 80's and became a University.
Would like to go back up there on the bike, great bike roads (as I remember) up through Indian Lake, Tupper Lake, etc., didn't have two-wheeled transportation back then.
