Where was #8 taken?

South Ajo Mountain Drive, just north of Lukeville on the Mexico border.

Gorgeous pics!  Kind of stings to look at them though with the salt and sand on the roads here in the northeast.

Gorgeous pictures.    Living in the North East, and facing four months of dismal winter weather, I envy you.

Bleak.
Unmitigated risk aversion is the new Puritanism; complete with witch hunts funny outfits and humorless preachers thundering doom. The Deity is Safety; Satan is a Lawyer; but the object is the same: to suck the life out of life and tell you how to live it.

Love the pictures. Arizona had my favorite roads when I travelled from Florida to California. As you know there is so much more. Sedona is amazing, Jerome fascinating and so many other places.
Thanks for posting.

Nice pics again!!  Just came back from a trip a few weeks ago (not on the moto) and decided this time to return home to Houston from Scottsdale via Tombstone and Bisbee and back up to Lordsburg...lots of great open scenery and fast roads to run there for sure!  Love the pics!  Will have to do it on the moto next year...

Where's the traffic ? Does anybody live there ? Early morning shots or just not driven ? I love the expanse , vistas and colors . Green is way over done here but very white this winter and unusually cold for Vancouver Island .
Thanks for these , makes me want to book a ticket .

Love the roads in Arizona.  Here's one on the way to last's year's not-a-rally in Cottonwood.

The road along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon is good too:

...and at risk of thread drift, the dirt roads in Arizona are fabulous too. You Stelvio owners ought to get out there and appreciate the dirt and the asphalt. This picture taken 3 weeks ago on a dirt-road ride from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon.

That's Mount Humphreys (aka the San Francisco Peaks) in the background, at over 12,000 feet.
