I'm gonna have to go back and look at my notes - I thought this machine was at the recent Las Vegas auctions? If so, I can't recall if it sold or was held back.

Mirrors have fat side toward center of cycle.

I have mine opposite of that.

I may turn one around to see the effect (Oh - might be to avoid the hack).

Meanwhile, any bit of bumpy road causes my mirrors to rotate down.  Any suggestions?

A calvin can worth average 5/6 k
A side car ? Let's say 5 ? ( just guessed I know nothing about side cars )
How did they get to the asking 18 k?
Nice bike though, no question about that.

AHA!

I was RIGHT!  :thumb:

This same machine sold for $11,400 INCLUDING the commission at the Bonhams Las Vegas auction just a few weeks back.

See http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23804/lot/189/ for the info.

Let's see - $19,000 - $11,400 plus maybe $600 to have it shipped back to Georgia, and that's $7000 markup.   Even with other costs added, that's a 50% markup for holding it just a few weeks. I'd like to make that kind of money...
