Matris Shock Absorber Preload Adjuster Tool
« on: February 01, 2017, 08:54:11 AM »
Does anyone know of a US source for the Matris shock absorber preload ring adjuster tool?  The Matris part number is SP04.T15.  I know I can get one from CarpiMoto in Italy for 10 euros plus another 9 euros for shipping, but I was hoping to find a less expensive route.  The adjuster included in the tool kit for the V7II Stone will not work with the Matris shocks.  Perhaps one of you know of another tool that will do the job, or a US source for the Matris tool.

Thanks, Sam

Did you ask the outfit you bought the shocks from? I would think that they would include a tool.
The Progressive shocks I just bought came with a tool.

No tool included.  Perhaps they reason that anyone who buys these has a dedicated pit crew that have all the tools ever made for adjusting preload, and that the purchaser doesn't dirty his own hands with such grub work.  Anyway, since I didn't get any other replies, I went ahead and ordered one.  It amounts to about 2% of the cost of the shocks.  Call me extravagant.
