Bike Night at Cycle Gear
« on: January 27, 2017, 07:28:21 PM »
I managed to tear myself away from the couch and watching "Wheel of Fortune" with the wife to go to Bike Night at Cycle Gear...from 5-7 there were maybe 4 customers and I was the only rider...had a nice chat and got a HotWired vest with free controller and some glove liners which were marked down 60%...nice night to ride about 39 degrees and clear as a bell...

That is all.

I have stopped by the ones here from time to time. Generally not well-attended at any time of year.

Do they ever do a slow race? Each time I take my TU250, I always win. Have my share of gift cards from there. Wonder how well the new Stone will perform going slow?

Stopped for fuel the other day. I think they were closed.

I knew nothing about Bike Night at Cycle Gear. The first one in the area was clear across the other side of town and I rarely ever got over that way. A few months back they opened a new store this side of town and I picked up some gloves, but didn't know anything about Bike Night. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for mentioning it!

If you choose to sign-up for the bike web sites mailing lists (if offered), you get notified of sales, bike nights, specials, and sometimes coupon code discounts...I love supporting my local Guzzi dealer, but sometimes financial prudence takes precedence over loyalty and when I find a deal, offline or local, I try to take advantage of it...
