handled so dang good. Its the only bike i really miss and wish I had never sold it

note to you ,if you find a sfc in a barn....
having said that ,there are probably 10 times more fake sfc's than real ones.
unfortunately the frame geometry of the SFC is different , so a replica looks just as nice , but wont handle the same.

I know a guy that found an SF2 and SFC in a metal garden shed back in the '90s. He bought the pair for $3000 IIRC. Both in nice original condition, needing a good cleaning and servicing. He rode the SFC to the WV Guzzi Rally at New Cumberland, WV once and then sold it to a collector in Japan. The SF2 was sold to a dealer in Avon, NY.

   My Driveway in the 80s. I sold the SFC to pay taxes, I still regret that decision. One of the few decisions that I want a do over.

I was offered an SFC (real) with fresh non-stock paint and rebuilt drivetrain, for $2000.00 in the late 80's.
I turned it down and still don't regret it. Very nice bikes to look at, or endurance race-even vintage race now, but a nightmare on the street.

i borrowed one for a day in the nineties, and was amazed they managed to make a nimble sportsbike out of the porky 750 SF. absolutely brilliant bike.
the difference in handling is amazing.

i would not be interested in a SF ,but the SFC is everything the SF should have been.

Back in the 80's riding track-ready bikes on the street seemed like a good idea...

But no, I owned a triple, rode a few SFs and the SFC, and I liked the triple a lot more. Even though it wasn't as stable. A good bevelhead is a better choice outside of the issues they have. A good Guzzi is a better choice than either if you ride long days on the street. Even investment wise, it wouldn't have been tremendous.
