a little off topic but have you see the PBS series "Spy in the wild"?
they have camera robots in all kinds of animals as well as dung piles on wheels. WOW they get some incredible video.. the baby hippo swims, they have a flying bird and turtle that walks.. all with hi def camera eye.. amazing.
