98 EV front cover seal

size?  Sorting box's, got my cover off.  Is It 28-38-7 ? and the Alt o-ring size?

The seal is indeed 28 x 38 x 7. No data on the o-ring, (Guzzi part no. 9070 6178) but it's also used on the plastic dipsticks, if that helps.

Yes I got it, Thanks Charlie. Seems my wife was cleaning in the garage and combined a few box's of stuff, and I didn't have them marked. Thought I had the right stuff. only been leaking 49K mi

You can't rush into things. The rear crank seal on my '69 Ambo has been leaking since I bought it 20 years and 73k miles ago.  :laugh:

Well, long enough that I had ordered the stuff 2 or 3 times. My 67 leaked w/I got it in 93 and I stopped it 2yrs ago. How's that saying go "If it doesn't bleed it's not alive"

The o-ring was so hard that was a bugger to get out.
