I would love to do those things,BUT, during the week  I work  and on the weekend I am married 😀

And right now my wife is very unhealthy. Gotta stick around and take care of her.

Maybe next year.
So sorry to hear that...hope she recovers soon.  Not knowing particulars, perhaps you can combine some outings (road trips) to interesting places that help satisfy your itch to get out and explore and maybe provides some visual delight for her (if she's up for it).   Perhaps visits to places like the Porsche Museum or Mercedes factory or a leisurely Rhein cruise can be options...

Sorry if I'm suggesting things that are not feasible at the moment...just brainstorming...hop e all works out well.

Thanks.

No, she's too wiped out to something like that. Very nearby is a lake wich she enjoys swimming in or just having a nice walk around. But I asked her yesterday if she'd like to go just to sit at the boathouse and relax a while, get some fresh air and what not, and she said she didn't have the strength..😕

To the original post, I have to be doing something . In social settings I get bored quickly and then my twisted sense of humor gets me in trouble . I strive to not make it so and then will say things that I consider funny, people think I'm serious. I'm better off working in my shop but I do like some visitors and the occasional social gathering. It's too easy to become isolated, especially if my Wife or myself are having health issues. Not sure what to do about it or if anything should be done.
