Been like that for a bit.   My browser often "times out" when I try to pull up "responses to your posts" or "unread posts", and it will say "Server under High Stress; Try again later".   Sort of like "Reply Hazy - Try Again" on the old Magic 8 Ball.

So who's having all this stress?   Not me, I'm still relaxing with a cup of coffee this morning ...

Russian hackers, obviously.  They're trying to learn some Guzzi secrets so they can clone the bikes, as homegrown competition for the Urals.

They already did that with BMWs so they could make the Urals in the first place.    Guzzi has no secrets anyhow ....  :violent1:

It has seemed slower. I have been blaming it on the new security measures. Not complaining...just an observation.

It has seemed slower. I have been blaming it on the new security measures. Not complaining...just an observation.

I've noticed that the performance is very "spotty" the past two or three days, in this sense.

I might get on, and the system is just FLYING - instant response to clicks, immediate painting of new screens ... then after a few minutes, it just STOPS ... very slow or no response, browser time-outs, and system messages about "Server Under High Stress".   It might stay like that for 10 minutes, then slowly speeds up, then it's rolling again as normal for some period, minutes or hours ....

Maybe that'll help?   Or maybe it's the "New Normal", like taking your shoes off at the airport for security?

You laugh, but lately we have been getting a lot of hacker attempts from Russia, China, Vietnam, Brazil, etc.  All these hack attempts have to be rejected by the server.   If you get multiples trying at the same time, it REALLY pegs the server. Thus, this can cause timeouts.

New operating system and control panel coming soon and that should help a lot.

In order to not confuse the people reading it, it a sophisticated bit of code it looks at your browsing history and makes a calculation on your reading speed and chokes off the loading speed as appropriate, :P

It might be time for a good ole "Vortex-Land Chakkra-Cleansing"...Just add the right herbs / ingredients...inser t the garden hose into a certain orifice...and you are off the races!! (LOL)

Chakra balancing is based on the ancient Indian belief in a series of seven chakras, or energy centers. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel. These energy centers are believed to be located at specific points between the base of the spine and the top of the skull. Some esoteric systems include additional chakras, said to extend beyond the physical body into the human auric field. Each chakra is believed to relate to particular organs of the body, ailments, colors, elements, and emotions.

So "chakra" is code for "wheel."  I'm assuming "garden hose" is code for "bong"?   :afro:
