 What  last years and what particular models had carburetors before fuel injection?

There were some Cali 1100s set up with carbs before FI became universal. So about 1996.

The 1990-1993 1000S used carburetors. PHM40N Dell'Ortos, I believe. Like the carbureted Cali, the 1000S has a Tonti frame...

The Cali 1100's and III's fuel injection when the EV came along they were all injection was an option as someone said the early 1100 Sports all Daytona's were injected.

On the 96 Cali you had a choice. 97s were injected only.

Only the early 1000S models used the 40mm carbs. The later ones used the 36 mm carbs and had the "world" engine.
