1000 Spada Proportioning Valve

Long time since I've been here, now I need help. Anybody had a proportioning valve apart from a Spada?
I have removed the circlip assuming that the next bits would come out that way, but no, even after scraping around the groove the rusty bits didnt want to move.  :embarassed:Open to ideas......
