I love maps - of all kinds, old, new, Atlases small and large...globes and anything related to seeking out the horizon and discovering new places.
I've enjoyed using Butler maps to make sure to hit some of the best roads during several long 5000 mile trips riding out West, thru the Rocky Mountains and up to Canada and even for local places such as Texas Hill Country (Luckenbach and 3 Twisted Sisters areas). Butler has just released a new map (Southern Mid-Atlantic) for some states I haven't yet had a chance to visit on the motorcycle where I'm sure a lot of our members live - will make for some fun planning for an "eastbound" trip one day! These guys do spend a lot of time seeking out the best roads, this time the team rode over 56,000 miles into every nook and cranny of Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio in search of not only the popular rides but the obscure back-roads that only the most seasoned locals know about - all are on this map.
Have fun...happy planning and map gazing - may have to put this together for a Butler Map/Eclipse run up to Nashville in August!
