Battery holddown-2001EV

My battery is not secured in place on my 2001 EV.
It likes to rub on a bolt which is digging a hole in the battery's case.
I notice that there are 2 types of factory holddowns on the parts diagram. One looks like a rubber bungee and the other looks like a bracket. Neither of these are on/in the bike. There was just a chunk of wood wedged in there trying to keep the battery in place.
The battery that came with the bike when I bought it used is a YIX30L-BS PN:M6230X
The dimensions of this battery are approximately 7" Highx6.5 Long"x5" Wide
I'm going to guess that this battery has different dimensions than the original which would render a stock holddown useless.
The battery tray is also blown out on the sides. Don't know if it's just a glorified cushion or if I need to replace it also.

Any best practice to securing my battery?
