« on: July 03, 2017, 01:55:00 PM »
....on the same WSB Honda @ Laguna Seca WSBK races this upcoming weekend will be Jake Gagne who has been racing in Moto America.  Don't know if this is for the rest of the season in WSBK or not.  www.superbikeplanet .com

Saturday Jake Gagne finished 15th(1 pt.), right behind his Honda SP2 team mate Stefan Bradl @ WSBK race 1 at Laguna Seca on Nicky Hayden's old race bike.  This is the 1st time he's ridden the bike let alone a bike with Pirelli race tires instead of Dunlops he's used to.  :thumb: Bradl last year raced in MotoGP.  We'll see how Jake does in tomorrows WSBK race.  This weekend is a tryout for Jake to see if he's found good enough to keep on racing the Honda for the rest of the WSBK season in Nicky's place.

It would be nice for us USA fans to have at least 1 American to root for in WSBK races, don't you think?

In Sundays WSBK race Jake Gagne again finished in 15th place for 1 more point.  Some riders didn't finish at all.  Jake is still waiting to see if he has a ride in this series for the rest of the season or not.  Since this Honda team isn't really competitive to win this year, I have mixed emotions on what happens next is best for him.  :undecided:
