I got a shipping quote from Vegas to TX at $525. I got an out the door price in the Norge, and the dealer fees seem reasonable to me. As far as I know, if I purchased it, it would be shipped to my door where I would have to register and pay TX taxes on it to make it legal here, and that's it.

I'm going to call my credit union first thing tomorrow.

How many fees will you be charged when you buy a bike out of state and bring it back to Texas? I don't like surprises.

Cash may offer some advantages when it comes to "accounting" which might help come tax time. That's not to throw and shade on the dealer, just stating one possible explanation.
