Noted but you have to remember, you called anyone buying a used bike a "bottom feeder".  The next breath you're trying to sell your used bike on the forum.  REALLY.

You are mistaken.   My reference to "bottom feeders" was regarding people who will only buy a New bike at an extreme discount, without thought of how that type transaction damages the brand and viability of the dealer network.

Dusty, you're not from the NE.  You weren't directly involved.

As for your phonic sentence.   You're a moderator and can do what you want on the forum.
Well yes he is..
But that's not how he rolls. Truth be told, he's probably held to a higher standard if anything.

Mercy! What a lot of static...

To the O.P., you didn't say why you are considering the sale but if you need the money start at $4,000 and hope for the best...if you still like the bike, then KEEP IT...Guzzi twins are sweet companions, easy to work on, and unique enough to confer coolness on an otherwise unremarkable owner...you could shop for months and not find a bike as satisfying as the Breva...my two centavos

Hmmm..I just counted back, and 11 out of 36 posts addressed rudolph's question.
That's just under a third..
I reckon we can do better for a relative newcomer who asked for help/ advice/ guidance..

Realistically, it would help to know where he's at.

Is this a thread about selling a Breva, or someone's hurt feelings?

I say getting over $4k out of a 10 year old B11 is a tall order, I dont care what accessories it has on it.. I love mine tho, it's not for sale!

For reference, I got my 07 in 2014 with 9k miles for $4k

I was.happy to get 3k from the insurance co for my 1100 Breva.

You can hold on to it for a few years if you want 4 grand or sell it to me for 3 grand.
O f all the Guzzis I,ve owned since 2971 and over as million verified miles on Guzzi the Breva was the most hated and the most loved.

Was the starter issue fixed?

Sorry for the drift.   Tom, I apologized to you for calling you a "B F", and I standby that.   However, I also standby calling you out for a lame post in this thread.
You call the OP out for grammar, yet you simultaneously claim that your only doing so too make him aware that there are grammar police lurking here.

To put it kindly, that's having your cake and eating it too.  I think that's lame.

If I had room, I'd be considering your Breva. I like the format, the 2 VPC engine, and the mods you incorporated. My friend bought an '07 California Vintage last year for $5K. However, it was almost totally stock and only had 11K miles on it. $4000 is probably a realistic selling price in a big metropolitan area like Dallas/Ft Worth.

It's all good Dusty.  If we were at Elkader, Chad and I would be having the discussion in person.  We set our tents up close to each other.  We were having lively discussions before meeting.

Hey.....no problem on calling me out on my post being lame but it was on spelling not grammar.  I don't eat cake or any pastry either.       It was the spelling police.

Y'ep.....no body wants to see you rubbing on your bike to make it feel better.  :azn: :azn:   You won't have time anyway.  Gotta make up road mileage for the downtime.  :thumb:
