I had those on my 2009 V7 Classic, they'll do just what you're looking for.
Just be careful on the clutch side that you're still fully disengaging the clutch when you pull the lever.
I found on my '09 that only the furthest reach position (about the same as the stock fixed lever) had enough cable pull to fully disengage the clutch.
You'll know if this is happening, as getting the transmission into neutral will be difficult if not impossible when the engine is running.
