Santa Claus was here

Visiting a gearbox specialist Saturday..
I asked him to replace a few false and destroyed parts..
Nut at the left is incorrect, on the right is correct. The left one was to "short" sitting
to low, meaning..no chance to get that sh.. out. A newly made special socket made it possible to remove, was necessary to apply a light pressure in the tool so be sure it didn't slip

New nut test just to be sure that thread is ok.

Small ball...a 3mm was found, not correct, a 4 mm are now in there.

New seal(s), first of all, get that old thing out.

Old one-piece to the left, new version to the right. Old one was like Bakelite.

With the correct tools, everything is easypeasy

Kaputt

Old O-rings out, one rubber an d one Bakelite.

Everything together, and a test run..
Afterwards we did agree that the gearbox have to be opened. At
least one bearing is shot.

This part was also broken. (pictured are the new part)

Today I took the dynamo apart. Grease was hard and dry,
and front bearing shot. Cleaned everything...and waiting for a
new bearing.

Heads...Exhaust port threads are destroyed in one of them.
I have to different nuts, one original and one ???..no idea
One side..

The other side

You can't use the left one on the right side an vice versa. Threads
are the same, (when you hold them together they fit in another)

Original nut:

The non-original nut: Threads are a little higher. And this do fit where
the threads are destroyed. (Original nut don't get a grip, this one though)

I was to buy a new head, but after testing today..I have decided
to leave it alone.
Removed the Tyre from front rim. Looks really ....hmm..looks..
I dont' know

.

Cleaning..

Looks a lot better. Did manage to loosen one of the spokes using
WD40 and a heat gun. I let it alone, until I get a spoke wrench.
More to follow
